Active, mature pleasure horses need the proper level of nutrition
to insure that they maintain a high level of health and fitness. Equine 12
supplies the energy, protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals needed
to keep your horse in top condition.
Equine 12 utilizes the latest
research in equine nutrition to form a complete and well balanced
diet when fed with good quality forage. Energy dense and highly digestible,
Equine 12 is formulated with more of the nutrients today’s active
mature horse requires.
Oats - provide a readily available carbohydrate
energy source with built in fiber for safer grain
feeding.
Soy Oil - increases the energy density of the diet without
starch overload while maintaining desired body condition
of active horses.
Stabilized rice bran - provides high fat and fiber
content to maintain energy without the high-starch hyperactivity.
Biotin -
for healthy hoof development.
Lysine - added for improved protein utilization.
Organic
trace minerals - improved biological availability enhances the
immune system, improving overall health, especially during the stresses
of performance and competition.
Complete vitamin and mineral fortification -
eliminates the need for additional supplements.

Equine 12 formula is designed to be fed with
free choice hay or pasture when available or as a complete diet along
with plenty of fresh, clean water and free-choice salt.
The amount
fed should be adjusted to the condition of the horse and the quality
of the hay or pasture available.
Do not mix Equine 12 with
oats or other feeds as this will dilute the desirable levels of key
nutrients.
Divide the total lbs. of feed required into 2 or more feedings
per day and maintain a regular feeding program. Do not feed more than
0.5% of body weight at one feeding.
Always change feeds gradually over
a two week period.
Measure feed by weight instead of by volume.
Store
Equine 12 in a cool dry place, and never feed any feed that is
moldy.
